The Situation

Imagine a typical Monday. You know the kind: back to work, inbox overload, Muni delays...but then you arrive home to find a gourmet, healthy, freshly-cooked meal waiting for you. Monday blues, be gone! Evolution Catering has arrived.

The Lowdown

Evolution Catering is your one-stop-shop for delicious dinners delivered to your door and ready to heat up in 10-15 minutes. It was founded by Bay Area local Kat Frank, whose life-long affinity for all things cooking (no cartoons for this gal, she grew up watching Julia Child) translated into a healthy, convenient, and incredibly tasty food service company. How does it work? Easy. First, check out the weekly menu online to pick your entree and veggie side of choice. You also have the option of ordering a la carte or choosing a four-day meal plan, the cleanse plan, snacks, and breakfast items. There is no minimum requirement or obligation, just make sure you place your order by noon on Sunday. Then, just sit back and relax (or go to work or however you choose to pass your time). Your meal will arrive to your home or office by between 4pm and 8pm on Monday ready to eat after just a quick stint in the oven. And even that doesn't take very long, because all EC meals are made fresh that day, no frozen dishes allowed! Choose from entrees like honey glazed salmon, veggie fritata, or turkey chili stuffed peppers made with local, organic ingredients and prepared with your health and wellness in mind. But don't forget the sides! You won't get the full EC experience if you pass up delicacies like spinach sauteed with shallots, and a citrus salad made with mixed greens and topped with oranges, avocado, sliced almonds and garbanzo beans. Mondays will never be the same.
